Glasgow City Cup Tournament 2008

The Glasgow City Cup will again be played at the start of next season. The Tournament will be held from the 8th - 10th Aug at the Glasgow Green Complex. Age Groups are 13-21 for boys and 13 & 21 for Girls. Western Regional Cup -2008   - . This year has seen another strong competition. The Finals were held at Petershill Park, Glasgow on the weekend of the 7th & 8th June.

  Under 19 Development Squad A combined Squad from the West and South East Region travelled to Ireland this month. They won 2-0 against a Regional Squad - match report to follow

  Inter Region Cup Finals

 These took place at Stenhousemuir's Ground on the 2nd March and there was a great show of football from all competitors. North Region won the Under 14's 3:1 and West won the Under 15's 4:1 see Squads page for details

The West Region are pleased to
announce a new sponsorship deals
 RBS and NatWest have sponsored a Regional Kit. Regional Chairman Peter Glancey said that it was great that Major Organisation are seen to be supporting their Communities and thanked both Banks for their support

We can also now announce that the Under 19 Squad travelling to Ireland, have just secured a new kit sponsored by Surridge, more details to follow

Regional Squad Training Dates These are now published and players should attend Renfrew High (Astrograss) for 7-30pm on the dates specified for their age group.
