Can you play trialists in Cup Ties?

You are not allowed to play trialists in any Cup Ties

Do you need a permit to play a friendly or bounce game

Yes you do, if you play a friendly against any other team you do so without any Insurance Cover and it is unauthorised football. Referee's have been instructed not to referee any matches without Official consent from the Regional Secretary by phone and this is followed up by a permit, if playing a pro youth Team Contact the National Secretary for permission

Does ever team require a Qualified First Aid person for this season

Yes, this is an important development for the Association and courses are being run by the Association, see the Coach Education Page Remember coaches also need to hold the relevant D & E Certificates depending on the age group being coached

How often do the Regional Development Squads meet ?

On average they will play and/or train once a month. Trials for next Season's Squads will be held over the summer and during August. In addition they play Inter Regional games against the other SYFA Regions

Can anyone join the 300 Club to support the Region and help raise funds for the development Squads to buy kit?

Yes, just e-mail your name and address and an application form will be posted to you. Proceeds from the 300 Club go directly to Development for this Region.
