Regional Development Squads


 

The Western Region were very proud of their development programme, last year we entered a new phase when we had regular monthly training for all age groups.  Thanks to all who have supported the Regional Squads in the past. We also have 2 age groups who play in the Inter Regional Cup

The potential benefits of participating in the Regional Development Programme include -

  1. Development as a player. The opportunity to train and play with the best players in one's age group

  2. Quality Coaching from Nationally Qualified Coaches
  3. Quality Competition, games against other Regions
  4. Opportunity to be seen by National Coaches
  5. The opportunity to represent your Region or National Association

Regional Squad Training Dates

We are now starting the trials for Season 2008/09. Please visit on a regular basis to check dates for trials, games or training at relevant age groups.

This year we are working with the SFA West Committee to provide a dedicated training location at Renfrew High School. Players should attend on training nights with suitable footwear for an Astrograss Park. For trials players should meet at 7pm at Renfrew High School
